Imagine you’re at this epic gathering of giddy people… and you see in front of you a shirtless man with a tattoo of the Cadillac emblem. You almost pee your pants with excitement about the fact that, standing in front of you is a guy who is really into Cadillacs (or just got really drunk one night and had his buddy ink it on him).
Question is, how far would you go to show your Caddy spirit — and would you go so far as to imprint the Wreath and Crest on your body? Tell us in the comments!

Any idea on where the photo was taken? The Fleur-du-lis suggests somewhere French or french speaking, and the very name ‘Cadillac’ is french and comes from the name of the founder of Detroit, Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac.
Good question; hopefully Michelle — who sent in the photo — can fill us in on the details of the photo’s origin 🙂
Pretty cool compared to so many i have seen…..
I think I would just wear a shirt displaying the wreath and crest.
I’m not a fan of tattoos, but if I were to get a Cadillac tattoo, i’d get the old fashioned one. Wearing the new logo looks like an advertisement.
First, the tattoo artist didn’t do such a great job, but is this something that you want under you skin forever? I’d say no, but he seemed to think it was a great idea when he did it.
Maybe his future wife/girlfriend/baby mama will make him get it lasered off.
Maybe if I had the body to show it off in
It will look right at home when he is about 100.
Not a fan. I am fine with tattoos but this one is unbalanced, too large for what it is. It needs to be smaller with something else to go with it. Not sure what. It just does not look done. I have seen other logo tattoos look really good so I know it can be done. I am also with Justin, if you are going to do it, use the classic logo.
Eh. It’s not bad.
if you are going to tattoo a car emblem on yourself make it a cool one like the corvette crossflags
My question would be why it’s on his back. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
Pethaps he has a V-series emblem over his nipples?
Awesomely awful. As in, utterly wrong, on many levels. I apologize if I offend anyone with this opinion, but I think any/all tattoos are trashy. When I think Cadillac I think high-end, I think classy, I think posh; this guy practically screams “uncouth.” I can’t speak for Cadillac, but I’d be willing to bet they probably wish this guy was not advertising their brand for free for them. I do believe it is wrong to judge a book by its cover, but this guy is clearly a little rough around the edges to say the least; why does he have his shirt off, yet everyone else in the pic is fully clothed? Although I don’t think tattoos are ever appropriate to be seen at a black tie event, I do appreciate that they are mainstream today, most people have one (or more), people from all walks of life, all tax brackets. Now if marketers could just get their target market (who they think will buy their product,/who they want to buy their product) to get a brand tattoo, done in a tasteful way, right? Thanks for reading.
i think if thats what he likes then more power to him.and for whoever thinks its dumb im sure people think some of the stuff you do is dumb too so whos to say anything
Dear Josh, thank you so much for your comment! You hit the nail on the head… I am always hesitant to ‘blog’ because even though I’m asked a direct question about my opinion, I feel bad about answering negatively. And you’re right, I’m sure A LOT of people think the shit I do and say is beyond ludicrous. Thanks for showing me how it’s done, that you can blog and say something negative without offending anyone. I hope you have a great day, thanks again for showing me the error of my ways. Best Regards, Sue
I also have a cadillac tattoo. It is on the back of my right calf.
