In the last episode of the “The OEM Bachelor,” General Motors found itself at a crossroads between two exotic Europeans. Testing the waters with Italian automaker Fiat S.p.A. was alluring at first, and Fiat is no stranger to American companies. However it just wasn’t meant to be, as things never got too serious (according to The Wall Street Journal). All the while, GM kept French automaker PSA Peugeot-Citröen in constant contact, and the two of them seemed to have enough chemistry to take it to the next level by announcing a global platform sharing strategy.
But GM and Fiat continue their relationship as friends, and building vans in Turkey.

woo foursome!!!!
Raunchy!
GM will always maintain contact with FIAT. They both jointly own VM Motori, the Italian diesel engine manufacturer that designed the diesel engine that will be in the Cruze. It’s also used in several Hyundai and Kia models. I’ve seen/heard those diesel engines and I can tell you…they are quiet and smooth.
