GMC is celebrating its centennial this year, and as a result will be rolling out special trim packages for the Yukon, Yukon XL and Sierra 1500 and will be displaying them at the 2012 New York International Auto Show.
These 2012 “Heritage Edition” models will be available in an exclusive Heritage Blue ($195 paint), White Diamond Tricoat ($995) or Onyx Black (no cost option). Both the Sierra and Yukon models will vary in terms of overall content.
The Sierra Heritage Edition adds $2,645 to the MSRP and will include:
- Unique “Heritage Edition” exterior badges
- Embroidered front floor mats
- Embroidered front headrests
- Chrome door handles, mirror caps and door moldings
- 20-inch chrome-clad aluminum wheels
- Convenience package with rear park assist, adjustable pedals, Universal Home Remote, EZ-Lift locking tailgate and rear wheelhouse liners
- Rear-vision camera
The Yukon and Yukon XL Heritage package adds $1,970 to the sticker ($1,820 for the Yukon XL ¾-ton model) and comes equipped with:
- Unique “Heritage Edition” exterior badges
- Embroidered front floor mats
- Embroidered front headrests
- SLT-2 Equipment Package with 10-way leather memory seats, headed second-row seats with power release, power-operated liftgate and heated side mirrors
- Additional content – including 20-inch wheels – is optional

A Sierra with White Diamond Tricoat paint would look terrific.
As if there aren’t enough trim levels/configurations already with this great truck,, but damn.. Drove a White Diamnd Denali for the weekend and just loved every second of it. Felt like a B-O-$-$. New Nav in the ’12 trucks is great and much needed.
