Indian news outlet Mint is reporting that General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corperation (SAIC) are wrapping up development of a new B-Segment MPV(pictured above), of which they originally showcased the “concept” version of it at this year’s New Delhi Auto Expo and is set to launch by the end of 2012.
General Motors India president and managing director Lowell C Paddock was quoted in saying the new Chevrolet will be called “Enjoy,” following the launch of the Sail hatchback in July for the Indian market. The Sail Hatch is the work of GM China and the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (PATAC) – a 50-50 joint venture between General Motors and its Chinese partner SAIC.
How Sad GM is involved and has it’s shares owned by The RedChinese(SAIC is a state Co.)

@ Jose Lopez, Chinese law states, to do business in China, you must partner (50/50) with a domestic manufacturer. Comply or leave the billion (and counting) population of potential customers behind!
You’d think our government would exercise an equal criteria towards all nation as they expect from us!
