General Motors is pulling back 3,633 Buick Regal sedans for what the NHTSA calls:Â “failing to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 108: lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment.”
We’re not sure why it takes so many words to describe defective parking lights.
The Regals affected by this recall were built between February 22, 2011 and February 22, 2012, and GM will begin notifying owners this week. All they have to do is stop by their local dealership so that technicians can reprogram the Regal’s body control module that controls the parking lights. Of course, it will be a complimentary service.
