Unless you’ve been living in your car and haven’t had access to the Internet, you missed GMC’s unveiling of the freshened 2013 GMC Acadia at the Chicago Auto Show last week. The full-sized crossover wears GMC’s new corporate fascia, has a much-improved interior, and borrows a thing or two from the Saturn Outlook. So, what do you think of the updated Lambda ute?

I love it!!
I like the front grill and lights. I don’t know about the fenders. I also like the Saturn Outlook backend. Maybe because I am a Saturn owner and I still have a soft spot in my heart for the brand haha . I like the new transmission. I can live with the interior. I would like to see the rear sunroof a bit bigger. I like the direction they are going with the revised Arcadia. All they need to do now it apply this across their entire line up. What drives me crazy no pun intended is bad badge engineering. If the average Joe has a hard time telling the Arcadia is related to the Traverse then you did your job as a GMC engineer. What say the rest of you GM fans? Thanks :)
wait i think it’s Acadia not Arcadia
you say potato i say potato lol 🙂
Besides the fact that I messed up the name what do you think of the new GMC Acadia?
haha
🙂
Lol it’s just that everytime I hear or see someone that talks about Arcadia I always think of the place Arcadia California
I personally love the new front treatment and interior refinements. The Saturn had a better rear end look so it makes sense to continue to use a good design for the rear.
Are the tail lamps still LED’s
I believe so!
I like the grill, the rest of it is OK. The VW Toureg just blows this out of the water in all aspects…day late and a dollar short again…
The same Toureg that costs $15,000 more?
I know the top of the line Treg diesel cost 50k, what does the top of the line Arcadia cost and what would it cost if it had a diesel?
Well, not quite. The Touareg TDI Sport starts at $47,000. The top-of-the-line (executive) is skimming $60,000. I don’t get the point of the Touareg — as it seems to walk all over the Audi Q7…
The Acadia is a mainstream full-sized crossover, while the VW seems to want to be a mainstream vehicle (badge) with a luxury price tag.
A top-of-the-line Acadia (Denali) will start somewhere around $43,000:

i like it the only thing i wanted in the old acadia is more terainish looks and they did that without going to far all in all a good execution of a better vehicle
