What were you doing at age 20? It probably wasn’t professional race car driving. And if it was, your name is probably Jordan Taylor, and you’re reading GM Authority. Hello, Jordan. We’ve heard the good news.
Jordan Taylor has been selected to race alongside the likes of Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen in the No. 3 Corvette C6.R for the long endurance races this year, which will include his first 24 Hours of Le Mans. Taylor was last year’s Grand-Am GT-class runner up with the Autohaus Motorsports Camaro GT.R. He will continue to do so for the 2012 season when he’s not pacing the C6.R.
Taylor also grew up in a racing family. His father Wayne earned a pair of IMSA championships and the 2005 Rolex Sports Car Series title, while his brother Ricky is a damn good Daytona Prototype drive, nearly breaking the Grand-Am consecutive pole record last year.
