GMC Plans To Showcase Refreshed Acadia At Chicago Auto Show Next Month

Do you realize that the current generation GMC Acadia is going on its sixth year of existence? Since the Acadia’s launch in 2006, it has sold, and aged fairly well with minimal updates besides the addition of the range-topping Denali package. But as good as time has been to the Acadia, it’s hard to argue against a refresh for the full-sized crossover. And at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, we’ll get a glimpse of exactly that.

According to our handy dandy GMC Future Product Guide, the newer Acadia will debut sometime in 2013. Hopefully it will breathe new life into the brand, which while profitable, has been fairly bland.

  2. I think a substantial refresh. Though for me it’s too late. I had to get rid of my ’07 Acadia two weeks ago. At 125k miles, the transmission was starting to act up again (was rebuilt under warranty at 80k).
