Along with the Sail Hatchback, Chevrolet also revealed a fresh take on multi-purpose-vehicles with the MPV Concept at the New Delhi Auto Expo in India (Iiinnnndiiiaaaaa!). Fitting snugly in the B-segment, the MPV is built to fit between 7 or 8 people. Mind you, this vehicle is slotted in the segment of the Chevy Aveo/Sonic.
On the sexier side of things, it was none other than Lotus that helped GM India’s engineers develop the concept chassis for the vehicle, which utilizes high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel in its design. Now, a car like this doesn’t seem to be a good fit for the American market, but it seems to be a glimpse into the future for what we can expect for India and other emerging markets.

THANK GOD this wont show up here!
An affordable car for a developing market and is appropriately fitted with content that meets the needs of it’s intended buyer.
*and everyone on GMA breathed a sigh of relief*
That eggshell-crate-shaped grille looks very familiar……..
