Spied: 2013 Chevy Cruze Wagon Is En Route To Production

Chevy is apparently building on the success of the Cruze sedan and the utility of the Cruze hatch with the development of a more versatile Cruze 5-door wagon, as evident from recently published spy photos. Expect it to come with the same engine offerings as the smaller variants, with a slim chance of it ever arriving to North American shores.

Why do they do this? Why not offer what the competition offers? Example: My dad was looking for a better commuter than his Z06, so obviously he would choose something American. He was going to choose the LTZ Cruze, but it didn’t have two doors so he went with a Focus. (If you ask him, he will say he only uses one door to get in a car anyways.) Disappointed in you, GM. 🙁
With no offence to your father, I think for him to disreguard the Cruze because it’s only available as a 4 door is a less strange than having him use a Z06 as a commuter car.
He has always used Z06s as commuters, the one he has though has an extra 125hp or so, so he doesn’t want to put too many miles on it. lol
I dunno, maybe it’s me, but when I think Z06, I think “fire-breathing antithesis to a commuter car”.
I doubt this will come to America as Ford don’t have any plans to offer Focus Wagon to America too.
Keep the faith alive. New GM seems to be more open-minded nowadays, though they are still a bit slow. I mean, before they filed chapter 11 if you told me GM was going to be selling a diesel small car in the US I’d have never believed you, and now we have the Cruze ECO-D coming.
If new G.M. is going to make it they will have to have cars other automakers don’t i.e. regal and cruze wagons
According to JD a whole selection of Cruzes are comming in the next gen or face lift. Patience my friends…
What’s the difference between this and the hatchback? Both have 4 doors, and a tailgate right? How is the Ford Focus hatchback different from a Ford Focus wagon?
The wagon version of the Focus is more squared at the back, giving it more room in the back while the hatch if you ask me is for more of the looks. Look at google images and you will see.
uhm wagons have more space??
