Meet The 2013 Chevrolet Spark (Video)

At the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, Chevrolet revealed the upcoming Spark destined for the U.S. market. In a nutshell, it packs the credentials of a great urban transportation machine for those who simply don’t want to deal with public transit, but would rather scour for parking spaces. Or maybe they just want a pink car. Either way, look for it in the summer of 2012.

  2. Looks like a minor facelift up front. Also, looks like a different OS in the navi screen than the Chevy MyLink….looks like a Zune HD interface almost.

  8. What was your thought on overall design.

  9. To me, it looks like a mini Sonic and it looks rugged for somehow. The front I think it’s kinda different than the one that we’re getting since everywhere around the world (except US) it’s pretty much the same and it also looks like it’s about the same length as the Aveo.

    1. As far as I understand, the facelifted Spark for the U.S. will become the new global look of the car for the 2013 model year.

It’s a bit shorter than the Aveo, by about 10 inches — but this is my favorite ruggedized Spark (even though it’s not real):

I’d be all over that as a daily commuter car!

  10. because it does look kinda different from what I saw. I couldnt see the front in a very specific details but it looks similar to what it has on the picture.

    1. Right — the one you saw was most likely a 2012 (not sure if it was available in South America in 2011). Going forward, all 2013+ Sparks will share the same front end design.

      1. like that’s the one that I saw on the street… it doesn’t have the bigger grille than the one that we’re getting.

        1. Right. That’s what I was saying — what you saw was a 2012 or 2011. The 2013s and newer will have the U.S.-like front end — globally.

  12. I want one as a commuter, dark gray with black racing stripes. I was watching a you tube video of suped up sparks in Columbia and saw that color, love it…
