Happy Holidays From GM Authority!

2011 has been an abundantly exciting year here at GM Authority. From writing almost 3,000 GM-related articles, traveling on media drives across the country, recording the GM Authority Weekly podcast, and interacting with you — our readers — in the comments and the forum, we couldn’t ask for a more fun, exciting, and fulfilling line of work. Here’s what we’ve been up to in 2011, and what we’re expecting in 2012.
GM Authority Grows Exponentially
Since launching GM Authority in late 2010, we’ve followed every move of General Motors, its products and its brands. And we can say — with nothing but honesty and conviction — that GM has come a long way since the dark days of yore. In fact, covering The General’s revival has allowed GM Authority to grow over 2,000 percent on a year-over-year basis — without any outside funding, venture capital, or otherwise!
Forum Launch
Our growth has allowed us to do some exciting things for our readers and visitors, including building what just may be the best automotive forum in the world. Having launched the forum less than six months ago, we’ve seen a huge spike in discussion and interaction — all of which leads to a great community — precisely what we’re striving for here at GM Authority.
The Podcast
You may be wondering what happened to the GM Authority Weekly podcast. After all, we haven’t published an episode in over a month. Fear not, the Weekly will make a return very soon. And we also have another podcast that will make its debut in the near future. Just give us about a week to get our programmers straightened out.
All Thanks To You
It’s all because of you — the GM Authority reader — that we achieved the Herculean growth during 2011. If it weren’t for your continued interest, readership, and commenting, we wouldn’t be here today. And for that, we thank you dearly.
Just the Beginning
All of this is just the beginning for GM Authority. We have some exciting things planned for 2012 — things that we can’t really share but that are nothing short of amazing. We hope you stick around for the next twelve months — trust us when we tell you that you’ll want to. 🙂
With that, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
