15 years ago, if somebody told you that Chevrolet would be a class leader in the compact car segment you would have probably wet yourself in disbelief. But things have changed, and with cars like the highly acclaimed Sonic and Cruze, nobody is laughing. Instead, they’re getting bonuses. Well, at least the people that make them are. But not just those that make the Sonic and Cruze, but every UAW worker employed by GM.
The $12 million in quality bonuses the company is sharing with employees will amount to roughly $250 per person, which could buy a lot of Cheetos. Or possibly rent a Rolls Royce and a driver to chauffeur the worker a half-mile down the road.

This is a very good sign 🙂
A Happy Employee is a Productive Employee
Definately a great sign that Chevrolet has come to be a world class contender in the automotive market. Now they just have to keep it up and not let it go to their heads or they will fall back. 12 Million in bonuses when just a few short years ago they were taking concessions. Much needed for the hard workers in the plants.
