Chevy Closing In On All-Time Global Sales Record

With the seemingly ever-growing competition in the United States, it’s a safe assumption to say that Chevrolet won’t ever enjoy the sheer number of annual sales it enjoyed 30 years ago in this country. But from a global perspective, it seems the brand is just getting started.
Chevrolet has currently sold over 4.8 million vehicles this year at the time of this writing, and is on pace to break its all-time sales record while increasing its global stake by nearly half a percentage share. It should be noted that roughly sixty percent of that number comes from sales outside of the United States, and it comes as no surprise that a Chevy is sold globally every 6.6 seconds. Heck, probably 2 or 3 of them were sold while you were reading this.
