Chevrolet Expected To Reveal Production Sonic RS At Detroit Next Month

It seems that we’re in for a doozy of an auto show ladies and gentlemen. On top of the official Cadillac ATS reveal and the all-but-official reveal of the Buick Encore crossover, Chevrolet will show off two design concepts from its Hollywood, California design center on top of another vehicle: the Chevrolet Sonic RS.

Judging by the Cruze and Camaro RS, we don’t expect any gains in performance, but rather only in the cosmetics department. If it looks like the Aveo RS concept that was revealed in 2010, it’s going to be one helluva looker.

  1. They should put some oomph into this RS

  2. I can’t deal with the ricer projects…whether factory or garage. Give me an SS already!

  3. The Sonic Turbo is already pretty quick, it’s nice to see that GM is expanding the cosmetic options. This car was made to be modified, so let the kids do their thing. It only means better sales for the brand even if most of us hate the idea of cramming a big rear spoiler on a FWD car.
