SEMA 2011: Dale Jr. Shows Off His Chevy Chevelle SS

Being that he’s a future NASCAR hall of famer, you might think that Dale Earnhardt Jr. would have owned a Chevrolet Chevelle or two in the past. It turns out that the one you see in the video below is the only one he’s ever had the grace of owning, and it wasn’t until recently.
In addition to showing off one of the baddest rides at SEMA, Dale Jr’s Chevelle also features GM’s Connect and Cruise Crate Powertrain System. This new offering gives customers factory-engineered engine-and-transmission combinations, all of the necessary electronic control modules, wiring harnesses and other components under one purchase order number. Pretty convenient for somebody who wants their pro-touring project up and running in a hurry.
