Make sure you’re sitting down for this one, because your mind could be blown. What you see in the photo before you goes by the name of “AWD SS” and is the brainchild of the fellows at The Custom Shop in Illinois, and believe it or not, it’s not based off a fifth-generation Camaro. It was actually ’68 Camaro once upon a time, and it was once a hard-top. It also didn’t have all-wheel-drive once upon a time.
Yes, this project Camaro features an AWD system (hence the name) that was yanked straight out of a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer SS. The new drivetrain should control the 800 horsepower pumping out of the LSX 376 crate motor under the hood that’s aided by a Procharger running 20lbs of boost. This is a pretty good example as to why there’s a car show in Las Vegas.

AWD muscle cars, diesel hot rods, too; it seems that the car crafters are as allways a step or two ahead of detroit if not the rest of the world, would be cool if detroit follows just as in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
