Chevy Sonic Production Halted Due To Part Shortage

1,500 Orion Township assembly workers suddenly found themselves with Tuesday and Wednesday off when a phone message ordered them not to come into work due to an unspecified part shortage. However, production is planned to resume today.
To note, GM sold over 3,000 Chevy Sonics last month, or roughly half of the amount of sales the Aveo posted during the same time last year. This is mostly due to the slow launch of the vehicle.
