Chevrolet Volt To Launch In 8 Chinese Cities For $75,533

General Motors announced plans today on introducing the Chevrolet Volt in China, starting with 13 dealerships spanned across eight cities. Those select dealers will be located in Beijing and Shanghai (obviously), Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan. And at RMB 498,000 ($75,533), the car won’t be cheap, either, though the price and limited availability of the car does play towards exclusivity.
Chinese Volt customers will also have access to the V+ Club, a 24-hour bilingual hotline that offers one-on-one service to members. V+ Club members will also be invited to exclusive activities that are meant to coincide with eco-friendly living.
