Chevrolet Cruze Continues Sales Leading Trend

2011 has been a good year for the Chevrolet Cruze in the ‘States. Selling 18,097 units for the month of September, it managed to add another link in its chain of leading the compact car segment in sales, outselling the second-place Toyota Corolla by nearly 2,000 units, and the third-place Hyundai Elantra by nearly 3,000 units.
Just imagine how stellar the sales figures would be if (or when) there’s a hatch, a coupe, a diesel and a high-performance variant meshed into the Cruze’s basic lineup. Lordstown workers, if you hear anything new, give us a holler.

To me the Cruze is more like a long awaited corsica replacement, ha. GM may be wise not to create other models or delaying them, other models could detract from the success. Let’s be real this is not a cavalier or cobalt replacement. The sonic has filled that void.
The Sonic is a subcompact, unlike the Cruze which is a compact. The Cruze would do well to replace the Cavalier. The Cavalier was an American Worker success story. For the price, no finer compact car existed on the market.
@yabadabadoo , Well I replaced my 19 Years old Corsica with a Cruze.
But I have the feeling the HB does not sell very well over here in western-europe I have not seen one on the road and on our Cruze Forum we have momentarily only one registered user .
Most likely due to production ramp-up. Then there’s also the issue of introducing a new product to the market, which takes some time. Give it a few months; I’ll bet it will start selling then 🙂
