2012 Corvettes Now Sport Two Additional Catalytic Converters

Among the lesser-known updates to the 2012 Chevy Corvette is the addition of two catalytic converters, bringing the total count to four cats per Vette. This was not the case on 2011 models, as each Corvette had a single converter on each side of the exhaust.
Those concerned about a loss in power shouldn’t fret: the power remains the same as on the 2011 Vettes. According to GM, the EPA required the extra converters, thus the reason for their sudden arrival.
