2011-2012 Corvettes Recalled Over Faulty Hatch Hinges

General Motors has decided to recall  5,755 2011-2012 model year Corvettes over faulty rear hatch hinges built between January and September. The hinges don’t meet federal weight capacity requirements, and can break loose in the event of a collision.

As usual, dealers will notify owners, inspect and replace the hinges for free.
