Video: Camaro ZL1 Laps The Nürburgring With Speed, Precision & American Muscle

It seems that September has turned out to be the month of the Camaro ZL1: over the last few weeks, we’ve found out how much power the ZL1 will make, published a plethora of videos touting the pony car’s various performance features, and have reported on the availability, configuration, and release schedule of the ultimate Mustang eater. But the good news doesn’t stop there, thanks to the folks at Camaro5, who have brought the following spy video of the ZL1 prototype getting some serious lap time at the famed Nürburgring.

The only advice we’d give you here is to play the video in high-definition 1080p and crank your speakers (or headphones) to hear the beautiful exhaust notes emanating from the Camaro that rules them all.

  1. At 0:59 to 1:01 the driver is siting in the right seat. Is this a export model for 3rd world countries. Or a slacker that edited the film?

    2. the driver is actually in the left seat, there is a passenger riding along though. There are not many 3rd world countries with right hand drive, unless you think that England, New Zealand, Australia, Japan are 3rd world.

      1. Yes those are all 3rd world countries because they still believe in a monarchy. First world countries believe in a plutocracy.

  2. The big question is what his lap time was. Even if it wasn’t an official run, it’d be nice to see what the car is roughly capable of.
