Frankfurt 2011: Opel/Vauxhall Spill The Beans On Innovative RAK e Concept

While we already knew about the Opel/Vauxhall RAK e concept, several details remained a mystery. For example, not only does the RAK e have an electric range of 61 miles and is capable of accelerating from zero to 75 mph in a matter of 13 seconds, but it features a body made completely of fully-recyclable synthetic materials and is a mere 3 meters in length (118 inches).

Opel boasts “production potential” for such a vehicle, and while we may not see something exactly like this in the future, we shouldn’t rule out some sort of super mini EV emerging out of Rüsselshiem sometime in the not-too-distant future.
