Six months ago, General Motors made the decision to shutter South Korea’s Daewoo brand, and subsequently replacing it with the globally recognized Chevrolet marquee. Since then, the brand has sprouted 27 percent, selling 54,444 vehicles both domestically and internationally for the month of August 2011. And with the all-new Chevy Malibu launching at the end of the year in the market, momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
