Pickuptrucks.com is a known authority on all things — you guessed it — pickup trucks. And we find ourselves now and again leaning in to check out their comparison tests between rival truck-makers GM, Ford, RAM, Toyota and Nissan. Their latest test was the “HD Hurt Locker” — a grueling examination of the Heavy Duty truck offerings from Ford, RAM, and Chevrolet GMC taking place during seven days on some of the most demanding roads in the United States. And despite recent updates from RAM and Ford that put their engines’ output to 800 pounds-feet of torque each, the 765 pound-foot Sierra HD came out the victor once again.
