Shanghai GM’s 2011 Currently Outpacing Record 2010

While The General’s U.S. sales were plenty good for the first half of the year selling 1,261,633 total units sold from January through June, that number is eclipsed by the 1,273,502 unit sales observed by Shanghai GM — which also happens to be a record for the region and an increase of 5.3 percent from the first half of last year. A lot had to do with the recorded sales for the month of June, which grew 9.9 percent year-over-year and totaled 193,878 vehicles sold.

That number is divided among 54,140 Buicks, 51,312 Chevrolets, 2,722 Cadillacs and 88,027 SAIC-GM-Wuling models. For more, open the presser below.
