Opel/Vauxhall Sales Increase 8.2 Percent Through First Half Of 2011

The first half of 2011 for Opel and Vauxhall are in the books, and the results are positive. The sister brands managed to sell 659,000 total vehicles throughout Europe, growing 8.2 percent compared to the first half of 2010. Overall market share also saw a slight boost, raising from 6.2 to 6.4 percent, citing strong demand of the Meriva and Astra Sports Tourer.
