Bob Lutz, Possible Michigan Govenor?

Bob Lutz, Governor of Michigan? If you think this a joke, think again.

Speaking with the Detroit Free Press, Lutz talked about possibly running for the Governor of Michigan after his tenure at General Motors. However, that idea was short-lived and Maximum Bob climbed back into the cockpit of his decommissioned fighter jet, as it’s probably cheaper to refuel the thing than running for governor.

“The endless meetings and events around the state. And then he told me how much I would have to raise and how much I would personally have to spend on it. I said, No way,” Lutz told the Detroit Free Press in an interview prior to the 2010 Michigan gubernatorial election.

But we have to ask. Would you like to see Bob Lutz as a gubernatorial candidate? Recently elected Governor Rick Snyder may have another 3.5 years left in his term, but that doesn’t stop us from wondering. Let us know in the comments below!

  2. It would be a great idea for the future of Michigan as long as he can be neutral when it comes to the automobile industry and I personally believe he has the leadership and the strenght to do so
