2015 Opel Flagship To Be A Seven Passenger MPV?

According to a report from Britain’s Auto Express, Vauxhall/Opel’s future flagship described by Opel CEO Karl-Friedrich Stracke as an Insignia-based vehicle that will be competing in a “new crossover segment” will be something akin to what we can expect from the upcoming Citroen DS5 that was revealed in Shanghai earlier this year.

Such a vehicle will be something like a seven-seat MPV, larger than the Delta II-based Zafira Tourer. What’s more, the vehicle may leave the region of Europe to growing markets like China, where vehicles such as this are in demand. To see such a vehicle launch in America seems slim at the moment, but never say never.
