NHTSA Begins Investigation Into 2007 Saturn Auras

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened up a preliminary investigation into 65,105 Saturn Auras that GM built back in 2007. The investigation deals with the transmission shift cable that could fail, causing the car to fail going into park. NHTSA says they have received eight complaints alleging that the transmission shift cable broke. A GM spokeperson says they’re cooperating with the investigation.
