New Plug-In Crossover To Be Revealed At 2012 Detroit Auto Show?

It’s been fairly quiet on the EV front for General Motors for a few months, other than the occasional Chevy Volt report. But after this month’s EV Symposium at Silicon Valley, anticipation and speculation has been turned up a few dials.

From what we gather, GM may finally pull the sheet off its latest plug-in product at next year’s Detroit Auto Show in January which is expected to be in the form of a crossover, or MPV. We’ve seen the Chevy Volt MPV5 Concept, and it was even rumored to show up during this year’s Detroit show under the Amp name, but clearly nothing became of it. Will we finally get a glimpse in 2012? It seems so.
