Google Adds Chevrolet Volts To Gfleet

The all-powerful Google is making their green initiative known to the world. This past week, the technological super-company announced they will be purchasing an undisclosed number of Chevrolet Volts and Nissan Leafs (Leaves?) for their car-sharing program. They will join a fleet of plug-in Prius and Hybrid Escapes at Google’s HQ in Mountain View, Ca (a.k.a. the “Googleplex”).

To be ready for all of these new vehicles joining their fleet, Google will be adding 250 chargers all around their parking lots. Currently Google has 150 Level 1 chargers and 71 Level 2 chargers from Coulomb Technologies.
