GM Product Communications Manager Drops Twitter Bomb On Nissan (Video)

First, to understand what’s going on, watch this ad for the Nissan LEAF:

After watching, you’re not-so-educated consumer (ie: almost everyone) might think that the Volt is no different than a Cadillac Escalade when it comes to using gasoline. Almost immediately, Jason Laird, GM’s unofficial watchdog decided to bark back at Nissan’s jab by tweeting:

A carmaker poking gentle fun at our product ignores towtrucks they need and rental cars they recommend as backup to their product

  1. leaf is a big scooter….and only good in city,,,and they dont have a spare tire,they replace by a bike to finish the 300 k because you use the ac…lol

  4. God I hope GM responds to this commercial with their own. I can already imagine multiple scenarios that comically point out the flaws of the Leafblower.lol
