Effective July 1st, Cynthia Brinkley will be leaving her position as the senior vice president, talent development/chief diversity officer over at AT&T to become The General’s next vice president of global human resources. She will replace Mary Barra, who made the movement to the total opposite end of the spectrum as GM’s vice president of global product development.
Brinkley also happens to be chairman of the National Oasis Institute and is a member of the Board of Trustees of Washington University in St. Louis. She also wears the hat of co-chairman for the University of Missouri’s Billion Dollar Fundraising Campaign. Additionally, she is a member of the Trulaske School of Business Strategic Development Board and has been recognized as a Woman of Influence in 2010 by Webster University’s School of Business and Technology.
