It seems every month a new special edition of the Chevrolet Camaro is introduced from someone, somewhere. May was no different, as Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet of Newton, NC has shown off the new Intimidator Camaro, following in the footsteps of the F-Body 2001 Intimidator Camaro SS.
The Intimidator Camaro has a supercharged 6.2L V8 which churns out gut-checking 704 horsepower and 695 pound-feet of torque. The suspension gets lowered springs, adjustable sway bars and new subframe connectors, while a set of cross-drilled brake rotors help bring the Intimidator to a stop.
A single-piece aluminum shifter, suede seat inserts, embroidered headrests with the Intimidator logo, and white-face gauges adorn the (intimidating) interior. Outside, the Intimidator gets a cowl hood, race-inspired spoilers and chrome wheels.
A copy of this ferocious SS can be yours for $79,993. For more deets hit up the presser below.
