General Motors North American president Mark Reuss is making a stop at the Corvette’s assembly plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky for a “positive news announcement for the plant and Corvette lovers,” according to the press release.
According to online business news site Business First, the announcement may involve an investment of $131 million, $7.5 million in tax incentives for GM and the addition of 250 jobs to the plant, presumably to prepare the plant for the production of the highly anticipated C7 Corvette, which may come as soon as late 2012.
