Holden To Improve Commodore’s Fuel Efficiency

Holden is looking to cut the fuel consumption of the Commodore by more than 7 percent by utilizing aluminum paneling to reduce the vehicle’s weight and improve aerodynamics. In addition, the Australian government’s Green Car Innovation Fund has granted $39.8 million (Australian dollars) towards the project.

Nothing is official yet on just how much weight the Commodore plans on losing.
