According to the Detroit News, General Motors has opted to recall 154,112 Chevrolet Cruze sedans for sale in the U.S. due to concerns over proper installation of the intermediate steering shaft covers stemming from a single incident that happened over a month ago, despite already recalling 2,500 examples for the issue. If we do our math, that number sounds like just about every Cruze that has rolled out of Lordstown so far.
As for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon mid-sized trucks, GM is recalling 6,303 of them over concerns that a windshield wiper nut may not be tightened to specification… moving on… 8,723 GMC Savanna and Chevrolet Express vans are being recalled over potential brake fluid leaks.
