GM Donates $100K, Vans For Missouri Tornado Relief Efforts

Honestly, the weather in some parts of the United States could be better. Most of Southeast Michigan is flooded from what is shaping out to be the third wettest Spring on record, Alabama is still recovering from devastating deluge they experienced, and right now over 100 people are dead from a tornado that ripped across Joplin, Missouri. We probably have El Niño to thank for all this, but griping about it isn’t going to make the rain stop. But there are ways to help, and Chevrolet (through the GM Foundation) is setting a good example by donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross and a pair of Express full-sized vans to United Way in order to aid in the relief efforts.
If you have some coin to spare, don’t hesitate to help out as well by visiting www.redcross.org or calling 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make a donation.
