Fire Marshal On Chevy Volt Garage Fire: “It Wasn’t The Cars”

About two months have passed since a suspicious fire burnt the garage of Storm Connors and all that was in it, including a Chevrolet Volt and a homemade all-electric Suzuki Samurai. Since then, low blows were thrown by pundits at GM and the Volt, and more or less looking for a reason to downplay the engineering of the vehicle and make themselves look like asses in the process. We hope, yet doubt, that their enormous egos will deflate a little when the read the latest news that clears the Volt (and the homemade Samurai EV) of suspicion.

When asked by GM-Volt.com, Barkhamsted Fire Marshal William Baldwin proclaimed that “it wasn’t the cars” that were to blame for the fire. Still, GM is currently working on its own assessment, and have yet to announce anything.
