We’ve known for some time now that OnStar is looking to rebrand its MyLink mobile applications (and web-based services), most probably to avoid confusion with the upcoming Chevrolet MyLink infotainment systems. What we didn’t know, however, is what those names may be… until now.
We just received — via our Tip Hotline — what appear to be names under consideration to replace the MyLink moniker. These include:
- MyStar
- MyAuto
- MyDash
- AutoLink
- AutoZone
- Remote
- Good2Go
- Mobile
- Connex
We also received the following logo — which looks like it would be right at home on an iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad home screen. As of now, these names are all unconfirmed — so take them with a big grain of salt. But if you were to choose one, which one would you go with, and why?

Great . . . So my “state of the art” Cadillac of Crossovers was built with “dated OnStar hardware.” How American.
