Pontiac Stamping Plant Gets $30 Million Upgrade

The General Motors stamping plant in Pontiac, MI will going through a $30 million renovation by upgrading or installing new equipment needed to produce parts for the upcoming Buick Verano and Chevrolet Sonic scheduled to launch Q4 of this year. The investment will also retain the 290 hourly and salaried jobs at the plant.
