Lingenfelter Dynos 1,200 Horsepower Chevy Camaro

After breaking the 9-second barrier in the quarter-mile with their juiced-up Chevrolet Camaro, performance company Lingenfelter is currently at work at building a newer, faster model.

With the mighty LSX crate engine coupled with a pair of ported LS3 six-bolt heads pulsing north of 1,200 horsepower via a TR6060 gearbox to the company’s new toy, it just might do it — if it ever leaves the garage.

In case you’re wondering what that sound is in the video that resembles an air hose, it’s the nitrous system emptying its tanks while the strapped behemoth shifts from third to fourth gear.

More, please!
