With the next generation of GM vehicles arriving over the next few years, the company is throwing in the necessary funds needed in order to update its plants so that they are capable of getting the job done. The latest plant to get a makeover is the GM Components Holdings Rochester Operations plant in Rochester, N.Y. where the company is pooling $100 million and adding 30 jobs in order to make future vehicle components.
