Before September’s 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, Opel has decided to release official photos of what we can expect the upcoming Astra GTC (Vauxhall Astra VXR if you’re a bloke or lass) to look like. Why would they release the photos 4 months ahead of time? Probably because so many spy photos have leaked out that we already know what it looks like. So the automotive media community ruined its own surprise in a way.
Orders for the vehicle will begin June 7, when full details of the 3-door hot hatch will be released. Aside from the outstanding looks, we can also expect a Ford Focus ST fighting boosted ECOTEC engine that will produce around 300 horsepower.
