Video: Return Of The CTS-V Episode 3: The Test

Following ALMS and Corvette Racing, The SCCA and Cadillac Racing will soon be opening their racing  season at Sebring International Raceway in St. Petersburg, Fla this Friday, March 25th with a pair of their new CTS-V Coupe race cars. Leading up to the race, Cadillac Racing has been releasing videos of their preparations, giving a more inside look on the team than you wouldn’t otherwise see anywhere else, similar to Corvette Racing’s Track To Street series. Before you is the third installment.

  3. By the way… is anyone as surprised by the sheet amount of modifications to the V seen in this installment? I know about the rollbar and such… but there’s a piece at the door open that prevents the drivers from “normally” getting inside the car, the stick is a serious ergonomic work of art, and the front clip looks like it comes completely off the car… is anyone else as surprised about this as I am?

    1. Not really. There’s nothing uncommon about the race car. At least it’s not NASCAR.
