Spied: A Convoy Of Truck-Based Chevy Midsized SUVs

With all of these teasers and revealings of upcoming Chevrolet cars and concepts, today the internet was graced a full fledged video capturing something very few expected: cloaked Chevy mid-sized SUVs that seem to be based off the recently revealed next generation Colorado.

This SUV, which we’re betting is part of the GMI 700 program could be a more sporty and off-road oriented offering in the Chevrolet lineup, opposed to the much more mainstream and mild mannered Equinox and Traverse crossover models we see today and we could see it by the 2014 model year.

Please, GM, resist the urge to make something to compete with the Nissan Juke, Suzuki X90 or Isuzu Vehicross. We don’t need another Pontiac Aztek or Pontiac Trans-Port/Chevy Lumina minivan!

    1. Nope, won’t be anything along those lines. Perhaps a more direct competitor to the Jeep Grand Cherokee… but not any one of those!

  2. Maybe this is why the next-gen Equinox is being downsized, and this new “Trailblazer” will take over that slot.
