Opel/Vauxhall Zafira Tourer Concept Revealed Before Geneva

2011 Opel Zafira Tourer Concept

With what was little else than a teaser photo of a hologram that was revealed earlier last week, Opel has gone ahead and released full details on its  Zafira Tourer Concept just before its live unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show.

What is being strictly described as a “concept”, the Zafira Tourer Concept is a sexy MPV that has room for seven passengers in a coddling atmosphere with its transparent roof and mounted tablets in the second row capable of surfing the internet. Powering the vehicle is GM’s boosted 1.4L ECOTEC engine (made famous by the Chevy Cruze) equipped with start-stop technology.

The exterior features the same boomerang-style headlamp design as the Ampera, and darkened 20-inch alloy wheels. Look for the production version of this Zafira to find its way to the world soon.
