OnStar ‘Push On’ Sweepstakes Campaign Could Win You A New Vehicle

Remember when you could push the blue OnStar button in your GM vehicle and you could win any brand new Cadillac, Chevy, Buick or GMC? No? Well… You will after May 31st, when OnStar’s “Push On” Sweepstakes is finished, and you tried your luck and failed. Or maybe you actually will win a car, there’s only one way to find out. Push the blue OnStar button.
- Sweepstakes Of The Month: Win a Corvette Z06 and 2024 Silverado. Details here.
Will love to be the winner
Who wouldn’t!
WOW just “pushed on” and I tell you the sales pitch to get me to subscribe was almost worse than purchasing the vehicle! I doubt I was entered as the On-Star agent could not read my address back to me afterwards. It took me 15 minutes of saying “no I don’t want the free six months I just want to join the sweepstakes” before the agent acted like they took my info. Nice thought for GM to try to allow non On-Star users to enter but did not work for me, too bad too I am a loyal GMC buyer.
Shania – that’s not good! The promo has been going on for some time now, so one would imagine they’d have their sales pitch straightened out already. What did the rep say/do that could have been improved?
tried to enter Onstar by pushing the button only I didn’t see any blue one. So I pushed the one that said On and got a person who seemed surprised by my call and didn’t take any info at all so I’m pretty sure I’m not entered. If that’s Onstar I’m not impressed.
Wendy — how did the conversation go? Could you provide some details? Did the vehicle have an existing OnStar subscription?
I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado and a 2005 Chevy Uplander neither which has an On-star system. So how do I enter? I heard the commercials say “no purchase necessary” but I can’t find a place to enter without purchasing a car with On-star.
I hope to win one of the cars and become an Onstar customer. The PushOn drawing is in a few hours. I’m winning!
It doesn’t work in rural nevada, tried more than a dozen times to enter from round mountan, nv to eureka, nv but always got a connection failed alert. Now the contest is over and in las vegas where it is likely to work. Don,t think Onstar is worth the cost if you can’t connect in the outback. LP
Yeah, it doesn’t work everywhere… but chances are, if OnStar doesn’t work for you in a certain location, no other carrier will either (such as AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and even Verizon — which powers the OnStar voice and data network). So until we have a connection everywhere (literally, everywhere), there will be certain areas in which we won’t be able to connect.
No word yet on if I won my new Corvette 🙁
I’m not really sure you gave away anything…its funny I enter contest after contest I can’t even win a piece of gum.lol its so annoying where this stuff goes I would assume it goes right to a company person.Because I never see it or win nothing.I think these are to get peoples information. In otherwords,A SCAM… Thanks just voicing outloud. Is like to win or see where they really go.Thanks Teresa Shepherd 811 N.Sycamore,Lansing,MI,48906
In other words, you’d like a nice car… for free. And you’re upset that you didn’t win…
GM (and OnStar) give cars away every day. They’re not in the business of scamming people. They don’t need to do that.
Moreover, OnStar doesn’t need your information (like you suggest) — they already have it. Again, not sure how you can call something a scam when it’s an official contest by a worldwide organization. In this case, perhaps reality was overshadowed by a slew of wishful thinking…
So where is my new Corvette???
Does this funny acronym, I made up, work for anyone?
